Sphere of scientific interests: research in the area of designing and implementing R&D, innovation and industrial policies aimed at providing for the long-term economic growth; structural modernization; strategic planning; economic security; development of the national innovation system; Russia's cooperation with other countries in R&D, innovation and manufacturing.

Author of more than 140 scientific publications and 35 individual and collective monographs.
